How we write and check our guides
ManteIQ's guides help PrestaShop shop owners set up and read their analytics. These are the rules we follow when we write them, and how you can check each one on the page.
A named person writes and signs every guide
Mantas Lukošius writes or reviews each guide before it goes live and signs it with his name.
Where you see it: The byline under every guide title, and the author box at the end.
Facts come from the source, with a date
Module features, menu paths and version limits are checked in PrestaShop's own code and documentation. Prices and ratings are taken from the seller's page or the PrestaShop Addons listing on the day we check.
Where you see it: A "last checked" date under the title and a numbered source list at the end of each guide.
Screenshots are real and never show a real shop
Screenshots come from ManteIQ's own demo shop and PrestaShop's public demo, both filled with invented data. We never show a customer's shop, name or numbers.
Where you see it: Every screenshot has a caption saying where it came from. Click one to see it full size.
Competitors get a fair description
We say where another tool is cheaper or does more, and we never place ManteIQ first by default. Comparison tables use the same questions for every tool.
Where you see it: The "short version" at the top of a comparison names the right tool for each kind of shop, including tools that aren't ours.
We make ManteIQ, and we say so
The guides mention ManteIQ where it solves the problem being discussed. We don't use affiliate links and nobody pays to be mentioned.
Where you see it: Links to other tools are marked nofollow and carry no tracking codes.
AI helps with research, a person checks the result
We use AI tools to gather sources and draft text. Every fact is then checked against the linked source, and every guide is read and approved before it goes live.
Where you see it: If a fact has no source you can follow, tell us and we'll add one or remove it.
Dates move only when content changes
When a version, price or setting changes, we update the guide and its date. We don't bump dates to look fresh.
Where you see it: The date under the title is the date the facts were last checked.
Found a mistake?
Write to info@manteiq.com with the page and what's wrong. We check it against the source, fix the guide and update its date.
