The free ManteIQ module creates the read-only webservice key for you and hands it over in one click. Prefer to see every permission yourself? Make the key by hand in Advanced Parameters › Webservice and paste it in. Both give ManteIQ the same read-only key, and both work on multistore.

Upload once. It switches the webservice on, creates the key with the right permissions and hands it to ManteIQ.

  1. Modules › Module Manager › Upload a module
  2. Open Configure and click Connect to ManteIQ
  3. Finish in your browser: sign in, new site or an existing one

Telegram is how the briefing reaches you.

Telegram is not a data source. It is how ManteIQ reaches you: the morning briefing at the hour you pick, the alerts that cannot wait for tomorrow, and a place to ask a question back and get an answer from your own numbers. The web app keeps the same briefing, and alerts can go to email instead.

05Permissions

Read-only, everywhere, with no exceptions.

ManteIQ asks for the narrowest scope each platform offers and nothing that lets it write. Revoke access from your own account at any time and the reads stop with it.

Read-only scopes

Google grants read-only scopes. The PrestaShop key has View and Fast view and nothing else. No writes, ever.

You keep the keys

Revoke from your Google account or your PrestaShop back office, or disconnect in ManteIQ. Either ends the reads.

No customer PII in briefings

Customer emails are replaced by an irreversible hash before anything is stored. No names, addresses or phone numbers, in the database or in a briefing.

Stored in the EU

Data is stored in the European Union, encrypted at rest and in transit. Credentials sit in a separate encrypted store.

06Questions

Before you connect anything.

Do I need a developer to connect ManteIQ?
No. PrestaShop connects with the free module in one click, or with a webservice key you make in the back office. Search Console, Analytics and Google Ads connect by signing in with the Google account that already owns them.
What permissions does ManteIQ ask for?
Read-only on every source. It never writes to your shop, never changes a bid or a budget in Google Ads, and never edits your catalogue.
Can I connect more than one shop?
Yes. Each shop is its own site in ManteIQ with its own briefing, sources and alerts, and a PrestaShop multistore connects each shop address as its own site. Plans set how many shops an account holds.
What happens if a connection breaks?
ManteIQ tells you. A source that stops answering is an alert of its own, the Sources screen names the error, and the briefing keeps running on the sources that still work.
How far back does ManteIQ read?
Sixteen months on the first read of every source, so week-over-week and year-over-year comparisons work from the first briefing.
Is Telegram required?
No. The briefing always lives in the web app. Telegram is where it is delivered and where you can ask questions back; alerts can go to email instead.
